Massimo Agostinelli, South African Born, is a Montreal-based contemporary choreographer and international master teacher of Bouffon theatre. Agostinelli is one of Cirque du Soleil’s top artistic trainers of Bouffon and dance improvisation since 2004. He gives Bouffon workshops for their corporative / special events (i.e.Red Bull, Disney, Bombardier, World Young Presidents Organisation, HEC/Mosaic Montreal, and television projects amongst others. He has facilitated CreativeBangok 2016, Créa-France (2016/2017) Mosaic Lille 2017, Mind Camp 2017 and gave a TED talk on his transformative work at TEDx Lille, France in 2016.and Creative Mornings in Montreal in 2017. He teaches/choreographs forfive major Canadian contemporary dance schools for the last 35 years. He has directed and created for Cirque Éloïse. Formed a new troupe Bouffon de Bellefeuille in 2016. A short documentary Le Ridicule Ne Tue Pas (Silly Does Not Kill) on his work and life was released this year and touring film festivals around the world.
